The Buzz Around is a weekly e-newsletter tailored to bring "down-home" news straight to email boxes each week. We focus each Buzz Around on the community it represents.

The Buzz Around Mother's Day Contest! If you know someone from... Hanson, Kingston, Middleboro, Plympton, Raynham or Whitman... pass along the news. Whichever town gets 200 new subscribers first... will be declard the winning town. The winning town will receive: A 2012 Boston Masspass Coupon book for the first 200 subscribers $200 and a visit from our mascot, "Honey" will be awarded to the Public School Department We will launch their Buzz Around on Mother's Day, May 13, 2012. You'll see announcements of the important events in schools, town and local businesses... the cub scouts car wash, the seniors' plant sale, a new employee on board, as well as weddings, births and memorials. We also feature: pictures of local life, a calendar of events for the up-coming week, historical tidbits, "The Prize Box," (a trivia/prize game), and community business advertisements. Our goal is to keep everyone informed of the events that make living in your neighborhood so special. Join us, let's keep the honey flowing locally.

With the help of many volunteers, contributing, editing, building the subscription list the Buzz Around has became a solid template for building community communication and pride. As we look toward the future to share this template and build hives in many communities, we look back and thank the folks who have dedicated time and energy because they knew, sharing positive information is a timeless needed service.
